Mission

The primary objective of Project Galtea is to establish a new civilised “bubble” on the eastern front of the Milky Way to preserve Humanity and the Federation. Our aim is to help establish and encourage further exploration of the surrounding regions of the Arcadian Stream. As a secondary objective, Project Galtea also strives to help research deeper into Humanity’s origins and philosophies.

While we proudly support the Federation, Project Galtea welcomes all Commanders, regardless of allegiance. Whether you fly for the Federation, the Empire, the Alliance, or answer to no power at all, there is a place for you here.

  • Exploration

    Survey candidate systems, map rings and surface POIs, and chart the region for fellow Galteans.

  • Logistics

    Assist in hauling efforts. Load and unload fleet carriers with colonisation commodities to help with construction.

  • Security

    Take on resource extraction sites and conflict zones in a beautiful area of space.

  • Colonisation and BGS

    Establish stations and build infrastructure for a thriving economy. Manipulate minor factions for political diversity.

  1. Recon

    Compile a list of systems to create a bridge towards the Arcadian Stream.

  2. Staging

    Deploy carriers and haul commodities to build the bridge.

  3. Construction

    In progress

    Build resupply points at 2,000 lightyear intervals across the bridge.

  4. Stabilisation

    Seed the main target system in the region and generate a healthy economy.

  5. Expansion

    Additional settlements, surface ports, starports and regional growth.

FAQ

Is this open to new CMDRs?

Absolutely. We can offer direction and experience to help you earn your wings, and you can hang out with Elite Dangerous veterans and get help with shipbuilding theory.

Do I need Odyssey?

Not at all. You can join us without Odyssey, as it's only required for atmospheric settlements and ports. We just ask that you play the modern Live version of Horizons, not Legacy. Ask on Discord if you need clarification.

Where will Project Galtea be located?

The target capital system is in the Eotchorts Sector: precisely 24,481.15 LY from Sol, 7,321.22 LY east of Sagittarius A* and 1.6k LY above the galactic disc, in a stunning position in the Arcadian Stream.
